A letter to SyedSeven down

Syed,

The man who never says no.

When your mom spotted me and somehow brought us together, I gained a friend with an incredible heart and an endless desire for adventure. We have seen so much of the world together, and somehow, we still have a few world wonders left to conquer.

I think about all the nights we stayed out until 4:00 a.m., including the time you drove three hours home when you had literally just had surgery. I think about sitting in the transport on the way to Machu Picchu while you patiently accepted that I would fall asleep nonstop everywhere we went. I think about Croatia and every day club I wanted to visit—and how you were always there for all of it.

You are one of the most patient and intelligent people I know. You have always been the best of the best friends, with a loyalty unlike anyone else's. With you, it has never been a question of who comes first. Our friendship always has.

I will always love you like a brother, man.

P.S. — Friendship first. It never was a question.

Will you be my best man?

Always, — The Groom
